The fundamental transformation in our society, rapid technological progress and radical changes in manufacturing methods affect each and every one of us - some more than others.
But there also those who are positively overrun by progress. The individuals for whom society no longer seems to have a place. The individuals for whom work is suddenly associated with loss. The individuals whom society rejects as "losers" in a modern technological world.
But the "loss" of each worker weakens the fabric of society and diminishes its earning capacity - because work makes sense and work creates value.
It is at this intersection between social challenge and economic necessity that Neue Arbeit comes into play. Our pioneering employment model combines social commitment with economic efficiency.

Guiding principles in dealing with employees
  • Our employees are adult people whom we respect and take seriously as complete personalities.

  • We create a climate of trust where employees themselves are involved in finding solutions. That also means provoking and monitoring development where appropriate.

  • Before increasing employees' responsibilities, we should always consider whether they might be overwhelmed or underchallenged by the new load.

  • All employees have the right to well-functioning organisation within our company. Everyone should be clear about who their contact person is and what their areas of responsibility are.

  • Everyone who comes into contact with Neue Arbeit should get what they want, or at least clear information. This involves active listening and a confident manner. Politeness and friendly manners are a must.

  • Everyone who comes into contact with Neue Arbeit should go away with at least one positive thought about Neue Arbeit.

People are the important thing.

For Neue Arbeit re-integration means concentrating on one person in a highly specific, quantifiable and difficult financial situation. Re-integration means understanding and showing interest in a person.
That is why the people at Neue Arbeit learn to know their abilities and limitations, and to accept responsibility.
Neue Arbeit develops work ability as part of a comprehensive range of accompanying social paedagogic and psycho-social measures. Special qualification and training elements based on fundamental knowledge create the foundation stone for the long-term unemployed to be successfully re-integrated in the labour market.

Neue Arbeit creates jobs. It finds the niches in the labour market where there is a lack of supply and makes use of them.
